SPSS files

When we create and save an SPSS document, the SPSS will create 2 files:

1. *.sav ………….the input file (Data view, Variable view)

2. *.spo………….the output file (Tables, Graphs, Analysis results)

Both of the files are separated, we can just copy one of them, rename, and open one of them (for example the ‘*.spo’) even we don’t have the  ‘*.sav’ file.

The Output file (.spo) is just changed when we change the data in input file (.sav) and rerun the table/graphs.
